Works on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
Packages from this PPA are not needed for 16.04 LTS and newer releases!
Notes:
* My script does not work on Ubuntu 14.10 and newer releases. Ubuntu 15.04 and newer have systemd services for saving and restoring backlight levels of screen and keyboard.
Known issues:
* Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty LTS) with kernel and xserver from 14.10 (Utopic) is not compatible with this script. Please use kernel and xserver from 14.04.
* Brightness resets to maximum on login to MATE session (may be related to https:/
