Steve's F-Spot PPA

PPA description

Various packages of F-Spot which do not automatically alter timestamps.

If you use these patched F-Spot packages, you should prepare for some kind of unwanted timestamp shift to occur when the F-Spot developers finally fix this issue and you switch back to the official packages.

I also can't predict or support any issues resulting from upgrading to a new official version.

To summarize, here's what this version does:
 * Leaves your photo timestamps alone, unless you manually adjust them with the "Adjust Date/Time" dialog.
 * Assumes that all your photo timestamps are already in your local time.

What this version does not do:
 * Does not correct timestamps which have already been altered by F-Spot.
 * Does not handle the case where some of your photos were taken in different timezones, or your camera clock was set to different timezones. You will have to (or, be able to!) decide for yourself what you would like to do with those timestamps, using the "Adjust Date/Time" dialog.

Other than time handling changes, the current package in this PPA is exactly the same version as currently distributed with Ubuntu Karmic.
