xFX Screensaver Settings
PPA description
This PPA contains Xavier Flix's application, xFX Screensaver Settings. This application provides an almost identical interface to that provided by gnome-screensaver-preferences but with the addition of a "Preferences" button that will let you change the settings of any of the screensavers in your system. Additionally, it features the ability to let you select which screensavers you want to use while in Random mode.
The rss-glx package is included to fix a bug with the Colorfire screensaver, which is not noticable when using gnome-screensaver-preferences.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:stownsend42/screensaver-settings to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stownsend42/screensaver-settings
sudo apt update
