Arabica is modular analysis framework allowing easy implementation and usage of mainly, but not limited to, scientific numerical algorithms.

Official subprojects of Arabica are: Arabica/Core (http://launchpad.net/arabica-core), Arabica/CoreModules (http://launchpad.net/arabica-core-modules), Arabica/ICA (http://launchpad.net/arabica-ica), Arabica/fMRI (http://launchpad.net/arabica-fmri) and Arabica/SDK (http://launchpad.net/arabica-sdk).

Arabica was born in the Neuroinformatics Research Group of TKK (http://www.tkk.fi) as Adaptive Robust Additions to Bagging ICA, where ICA further refers to Independent Component Analysis. Since then the framework has grown into a much more general analysis toolbox. It is currently implemented as a Matlab (http://www.mathworks.com) package, but we may offer other versions, e.g. Python, in the future. The framework uses compatible module definitions with LONI Pipeline (http://pipeline.loni.ucla.edu) from UCLA, and includes automatic wrapper scripts for embedding into Pipeline.

More information arriving shortly, in the meantime see http://ics.tkk.fi for the cool stuff we do...
