Bug Description

This allows Thunar (xfce) to right-click the Dropbox context menu options

Someone at Mint has packaged these already:
http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=110&t=72253

...but I can't find them in Debian or Xubuntu

I think the raw code is from here: http://softwarebakery.com/maato/thunar-dropbox.html

Thanks,
Lance

This bug is tagged needs-packaging which identifies it as a request for a new package in Ubuntu. As a part of the managing needs-packaging bug reports specification, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Specs/NeedsPackagingBugs, all needs-packaging bug reports have Wishlist importance. Subsequently, I'm setting this bug's status to Wishlist.

I hope this would work the same way as "nautilus-dropbox"; to download the Dropbox deamon and provide the proper integration with Thunar.

Dear sponsors, please consider the following for inclusion in Ubuntu.

dget https://launchpad.net/~unit193/+archive/staging/+files/thunar-dropbox-plugin_0.2.0%2Bdfsg1-0ubuntu1.dsc

Asked pkg-xfce if they wanted it, and right now they are more concerned with bug fixes. Additionally, I believe Xubuntu is interested in having this as an installable option in utopic. One change that may be desired, changing the maintainer to "Xubuntu developers <email address hidden>"

Changed in ubuntu:
status: Confirmed → In Progress

Indeed, with my Xubuntu XPL hat on, I would approve if this extension for Thunar were included.
Especially now that Ubuntu One has been suspended, it'd be nice to be able to offer people a simple alternative to access another cloud-service.

debian/copyright needs an update:
 - there's some files with "Copyright 2010 Maato" and
 - there's ./waf: *No copyright* BSD (3 clause)

Is ./usr/lib/thunarx-2/ the correct directory? I couldn't find any other packages shipping files in this directory.

...so did you file a "copyright needs an update" bug against the code Danial?

Howdy and thanks for the review!

I have checked and fixed the errors, as well as changed to the recommended "Xubuntu Developers" maintainer and licensing.

That location is correct for non-multiarch packages. This package does not easily support multiarch, so it was not added.
