no longer possible to organize bookmarks

Bug Description

No longer possible to organize bookmarks, I do not even see this option in the drop down menu if I click on bookmarks.
No longer possible to import bookmarks from a JSON file. But I am dead sure I have done that before.
It is not only the times that are a-changing. Firefox is too, but is it for the better, hmmm?

Problem solved. I have at last managed to retrieve all my bookmarks using the JSON file.

Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) reached end-of-life on April 28, 2017.
Two issues seem to have been reported.

Reporter found work around for one as per comment #2.
Re second issue, this may have been a Unity menu problem.
No comments added to bug report for nearly 7 years.

In the current release of Firefox 'Organise' can be found from the menu option 'Bookmarks' | ' Show All Bookmarks'.

So closing as fixed as issue, not sure which one, was reported by three users.

Please comment below if anyone still sees an issue so that the bug report can be reopened and/or reassigned as appropriate.
