Further back we can see that it is an issue with the installation of a package that was downloaded:

I try installing again as it may be a temporary issue. If that doesn't work then try installing without downloading updates and then update your system after the installation process.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue on a maintained version of Ubuntu please let us know.
