Thunderbird dialog box broken with compiz "desktop effects" enabled in 7.04/i386

Bug Description

When enabling "Preferences"->"Desktop Effects" (compiz?) under an i386 Feisty/7.04 install the Account password dialog box for [Mozilla] Thunderbird ceases to reflect keystrokes. Normally, one would expect to see an "*" for each key pressed; this does not happen, though the Enter key does seem to be honored.

After disabling the "Desktop Effects" the dialog box works again, so it's not a show-stopper.

I can not reproduce this with the latest compiz in ubuntu gutsy anymore. I mark this as close, please reopen if you still experience issues.
