asus pro31series F3SC support

Bug Description

I'm currently running ubunty gutsy on an ASUS pro31 series F3SC with the following modifications:

 - iwlwifi (latest version as of now 0.0.38), need to install this because else wireless is completely unsupported
 - nvideo video driver (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-100.14.11-pkg2.run from http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html), need to upgrade to this latest version to support the nvidia 8400MG shipset)
 - modprobe ide-generic to at least enable the DVD in ide mode (kernel does not seem to detect it as SATA)

It would be nice if these drivers/changes were included in the final gutsy kernels.

Latest gutsy with kernel 2.6.22-10, nvidia-glx-new etc work perfectly. thanks, closing.
