Bug Description

QATracker Trusty Daily Beta 1
Testcase: http://packages.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/306/builds/55995/testcases/1565/results
Tested in vm (Virtualbox 4.3.8 64bit)
Problem:
Cursor themes do not seem to work correctly either on the host computer (xubuntu 13.10) OR the Virtualbox guest vm (14.04 daily beta 1), the test vm system. The defaullt pointer arrow cursor persists while the other ones change according to the selected theme -- shape, size and colour.
