Bug Description

Found while running a xubuntu live session:

menulibre does not cause a newly created menu entry to be hidden if the option "hide from menus" is selected and the save button is activated.

when running 'menulibre --verbose' i see these errors:

(menulibre:5099): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tree_model_get_iter: assertion 'path->depth > 0' failed

The .desktop files get updated correctly.

I realize it's a bit late to request this... But can you recreate this issue and attach the .desktop file and ~/.config/menus/xfce-applications.menu

in addition, selecting the hide button sometimes causes "Select an Executable" window to appear, most often, but not always, when the menu item is collapsed.

If it helps, I encounter this behavior in MenuLibre in Peppermint 10. The workaround here is not to click on the opposite side of the slider (i.e., to turn it from yes to no, or vice versa), but rather to slide it: click on the button where it is, and drag it to the opposite side.
