when the CD/DVD inserted, it doesn't appear and my display adapter can't recognized by Edubuntu

Bug Description

when the CD/DVD inserted, it doesn't appear the content of the volume. And when I try to mount it, I have a warning: Unable to mount the selected volume, with details : mount: special device /dev/hda does not exist.
My display adapter can't recognized by Edubuntu and when I try to activates the Desktop effect, its always appears white blank screen.
And when I try to connecting to the LCD Projector, its doesn't appears anything whit the blue screen and no signal.
I try it on my both two laptops with wide screen: HP Presario V3500 and Axioo M54V

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.
