Bug Description

If you open gstreamer-properties directly from the gnome menu (called Multimedia
Systems Selector, under preferences) and go to the video section then choose
Ascii Art as an output (either X11 or console, both have the same effect) then
click the test button the application crashes. This does not happen if you run
it from a console, because it will disply the test in the console.

Also if you open gstreamer-properties again and now run a video output you can
test such as XWindows, a window will popup testing the output. If you close this
window by clicking the "X" it will crash gstreamer-properties. I think it
expects you to click the "OK" button. But clicking the "X" of the output window
should have the same effect, or at least not crash the application.

I'm running Hoary.

About the "Ascii Art" output (aasink), the problem has been resolved upstream ... by removing it from the list :

About the other crash, I don't see it happening in 2.20

Closing as fixed
