Bug Description

When I put my machine "flash disk " into my computer
there is no icon for it .And I searched the Place to open my entered disk .Finally, I
found it but failed to open it (there is no appearance for it)
What's more,
  Some times
I even couldn't find my" Ntfs" disks until I restart my system(As you know,It must take some time to restart it,and It semed to have taken me a lot time to solve this problem.).
Why can't it be running normally ?

Thank you for reporting this bug. This bug report dates to the alpha days of the current release. Does this issue still persist long after the Stable release of Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy gibbon?

Thanks again for contributing
