Unresolvable problem calculating upgrade

Bug Description

While attempting to upgrade from Kubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04 to Gutsy Gibbon Tribe 4 using "update-manager -d", received the following error message:

Could not calculate the upgrade

A unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the bugreport.

This submission page has no provision for submitting an attachment. I will submit the tarball of the logs in a separate comment.
