Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

I´ve installed the wlags49_h1_cs driver to support wpa on my orinoco card. This workes like charm except network manager. NM displays every network in my area and it even seems it shows more then the orinoco driver (the network level is more accurate). My problem is when connecting to one of those networks... it asks me for the network key (it even detects if its wpa or wep) and tries to connect.

dmesg output shows a line like this

[ 814.172000] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth1: link becomes ready

and running dhclient manual in the console brings up a fully functional network link. But NM thinks it´s still connecting and after a while it gets total disconnected and waits for a new link.

It would be great if NM would support the driver so we could use wpa with older laptops.

With unencrypted networks it seems to work. Just switched the AP to wep and it stopped working at all.
