Bug Description

Package Name: network-manager 0.6.4ubuntu7

Fresh Fiesty install on IBM T23 using a DLink 650G 802.11g card. No problems with interface for first 4 weeks but last 2 weeks have seen interface to AP crash randomly and often.

iwconfig consistently sees the AP and reports on SSID and signal strength etc... properly. Network Manager has difficulty establishing an IP address or once established, drops it randomly and often.

Linksys WRV200 router set for no security and Network Manager still has trouble establishing IP address. Other WiFi PCs in house work fine so not AP issue.

I have a second machine, a Dell 4100 running an upgrade from Edgy, that has exactly the same issues but with an internal DLink PCI bus WDA-1320. Had no trouble under Edgy.

Tried ndiswrapper but no change so backed out. Re-installed Network-manager as well but no change.
