[Gutsy] Windows no longer on Grub list

Bug Description

I installed Gutsy Beta from the Desktop CD and it all worked perfectly. I have Ubuntu and Windows on this machine and manually edited the grub menu.lst to put Windows above the automatic Ubuntu section (so that it booted by default).

Today, I downloaded all the updates since Gutsy Beta was released. When I rebooted, Windows was missing from the list. Only the various Ubuntu options were there.

I have manually added it back, but it is a pretty serious thing to happen from downloading updates.

You need to put them above line 52 - not just above the Ubuntu entry. Not below. Otherwise it will be modified, just as the file itself says.

### BEGIN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST
## lines between the AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST markers will be modified
## by the debian update-grub script except for the default options below

I was aware of that and am fairly certain that I did so (I should have
mentioned that in my report). Could there be anything else that caused
it? - I edit that list a fair bit and have never slipped up before.

I guess that it is possible that I put it above that
# END DEFAULT OPTIONS
line, thinking that it was the line about automatic kernels.

Perhaps we should assume that is what I did and leave this as invalid.
Thanks for your help :).
