Bug Description
I have to use the acpi=off boot paramater to successfully boot the Gutsy 7.10 final live CD on a Compaq Presario F600. The computer uses an AMD mobile Sempron and an nForce chipset. Using the Slax Standard edition, I have no problems. (http://
I've tried the following boot parameters with no success:
idle=poll, acpi_use_

My trouble it's the same with a computer compaq presario f566la
I have to add to the boot sequence "acpi=off" to boot the system
plus this I add noapic because the sound works bad (it begin a sound and keeps in a loop
