Bug Description
Hi,
I have a Ubuntu 7.04 installation. When I tryed to open Synaptic Package Manager a error message appeared this is:E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report. I traed to correct but unfurtunaly did not worked.
I tryed t6o open Update menager but an anather error start :
Could not initialize the package information
A unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.
Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:
'E:Dynamic MMap ran out of room, E:Error occurred while processing adept-manager (NewVersion1), E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Did you try executing 'sudo dpkg --reconfigure -a' in a terminal as recommended by Synaptic? Thanks in advance.
