djview cause X to restart, killing current session

Bug Description

I am using Gutsy
I have tried with different users, on the same laptop: X restarts, killing current session.

Here included what i got from Xorg.0.log, i think to be related to the X crash
Any ideas?

Launched djview without arguments: X restarts the same
So that is not imputable to bad djvu input file.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
