Bug Description

Blueman is a GTK+ bluetooth management utility for GNOME using bluez dbus backend. The aim is to create a full featured graphical bluetooth manager for Linux.

Features:

    * Easy to use interface
    * Storing Favourite devices
    * Send files
    * Browse files on devices
    * List all seen devices
    * View Local/Remote Device information
    * View transfer speeds and link quality
    * Configure local devices
    * Manage Pairing (Bonding)
    * Host/Connect to Personal Area Networks
    * Bind services to /dev/rfcomm ports, for eg. connecting via gprs
    * Connect and receive connections from: audio, network, input and serial devices

I agree this is far superior to what is included for bluetooth! Now it's a snap to add my phone as a modem and to use obex.

Yes, Blueman is very efficient, I was able to transfer files very easily from my computer to my Nokia N72 mobile phone, I would be glad to see this program in official packages :-)

The current status of this project is "Fix Committed" - but what does this mean? It is not available to me in Jaunty/9.04 repositories.

In Jaunty beta, you must add the blueman repository to have access to the blueman packages.

Hey kemel, did you have any updates on the package? I'd like to put this into Karmic and maybe backport it to Jaunty, but I'll need to be sure the package is right first. The REVU link you gave seems a bit out of date.
