 [needs-packaging] Ingen - modular audio processing system with GUI and plugins

URL:
http://drobilla.net/software/ingen/

Description:
Ingen (formerly Om) is a modular audio processing system for GNU/Linux audio systems using the Jack audio server and LV2 or LADSPA plugins.

Client/Server System -

Ingen itself is (or can be, at least) an independent process with no user interface to speak of. All controlling of the engine is done via [OSC http://www.opensoundcontrol.org/what_is_osc/] - creating a patch, loading a plugin, connecting two ports, etc. Clients connect to the engine and can "register" to receive notification from the engine (again via OSC) of when things change.

The key idea here is that many clients can connect to the engine at one time (even from multiple machines - collaborative modular synthesis!). Clients can come and go as they please, keep up to date with the engine status, etc. etc.

Having no clients connected at all is perfectly okay (for situations like running on a headless machine for live performance, etc.)

List of Free plugins available at http://dev.drobilla.net/wiki/FreePlugins (very good)
"

It would be extra useful if some of the FreePlugins were made available as an extension kit for Ingen - but just hoping.

======================
Ingen as a title means very little.
Please consider using an explanatory title such as ;

new version of ingen also depends on redlanmm (svn only).

I already have it in my PPA with all the needed libs, but I'm waiting for liblo (v0.26 is out there)

falkTX,

I have added your ppa (I admire this your work, thanks!), but there are no ingen there. I use Kubuntu Lucid. Any news?

Reviewing needs-packaging bug reports I have concluded that this bug is likely a duplicate of bug 282470. It'd be great if you could help consolidate these bug reports by performing the following actions.

1. Examine both bug reports to determine if they are actually duplicates.
2. Determine which bug report is more complete - a more complete bug report will have a status of Confirmed, Triaged or In Progress, may be assigned to someone or may possess a bug watch.
3. Mark the other bug report a duplicate of the complete one by clicking 'Mark as duplicate' on the right hand side of the bug page.

Thanks for helping out!

Looks like it was released in Debian, but I'm not showing it in the repos for Disco at this time. Is this something that is supposed to be synced?
