Bug Description

[Impact]
New Intel Cyclone Peak Wifi doesn't work without newly added driver.

[Fix]
Cherry pick iwlwifi commits from v5.0 to v5.1, and confirmed with proper firmware the wifi works.

[Test]
Verified on AX200NGW & 22560NGW chips & Killer 1653 card, wifi works well.

[Regression Potential]
Medium, it affects the whole iwlwifi driver, but I've verified it with fwst S3 test, and the wifi is still working after S3 test 30 times.

I'm running Disco 64-bit and my AX200 currently does not work with the stock kernel (5.0.0.20.21) and linux-firmware (from proposed: 1.178.2).

Should i open a separate bug or is this bug valid for Disco as well?

the backport is too big for the disco kernel, so either you get the osp1 kernel or wait for 19.10 to maybe have support for this in it's kernel

You can also try the dkms package, backport-iwlwifi-dkms

Ubuntu 18.04.3 with kernel 5.0 default .iso
iwlwifi intel wifi was not loading properly on a Clevo N750WU

Confirmed installing kernel: 5.0.0-1020-oem-osp1 made the wifi work

lotuspsychje, cool, thanks for the report.
The changeset is too large to fit in the SRU rules, so the iwlwifi changeset only applied on oem osp1 kernel.
