DVD/CDROM drives do not use DMA mode by default

Bug Description

Ubuntu does not configure DVD/CDROM drives to use DMA mode by default. This
results in poor DVD playback and jerkiness when reading from CDs.

The following enables DMA mode:

hdparm -d 1 /dev/dvd
