Bug Description

The package has been unmaintained for years, is still depending on gconf and now evolution-plugins got support for libunity which provides a similar feature of launcher integration

This plugin is for indicator-messages where libunity plugin mostly for launchers. Btw, I have ported this to gsettings, so can we bring this back to universe ? Unity-team will be new maintainer.

Yes, if it's not depending anymore on outdated libraries it should be no issue to upload it again to Ubuntu
