Bug Description

I tried to update, upgrade with terminal: sudo update-manager -d -c and got it to run, but it wanted too much space, so I waited till I moved some video files.
Then I ran again and it does not work the same way. I don't see opportunity to upgrade to latest distro.
Next, is there a way to upgrade off Ubuntu 8.04 Alpha 4 Iso Live (Upgrade) Cd without re-install.
Trying to upgrade from Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon 7.10 Final to Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron Alpha 4.
This command has worked on two of my other computers kind of, one boots in BusyBox or older Kernel other is still upgrading.

Thanks for your bugreport.

What version of update-manager do you currently run on gutsy? Could you please check that you got the latest one from gutsy-updates?

If one of your other computers failed to upgrade (and now boots into busybox), could you please include the logs in /var/log/dist-upgrade of the failure in a new bugreport? That would help us diagnose the issue?

Thanks,
 Michael

The other computer is now in the process of a Distribution Upgrade, so I think that problem went away or worked around when I did a terminal:
sudo update-manager -d without the -c. I had tried that before but then it didn't work later. thank, so you can probably close that part of the bug.
