Try install from canary ISO dated 2022-04-18 18:51 on my desktop
Machine:
  Type: Desktop Mobo: Gigabyte model: H87M-D3H v: x.x serial: N/A
    UEFI: American Megatrends v: F3 date: 04/24/2013
partitions are:

screen 'Allocate disk space' does not detect my disk sda. see screenshot attached.
