Bug Description

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'cat /etc/lsb-release' or System -> About Ubuntu.

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'dpkg -l PKGNAME | cat' or by checking in Synaptic.
liferea 1.4.14-0ubuntu1

3) What happened and what you expected to happen.
i typed "liferea" into a terminal and it flashed open for a fraction of a second, then crashed shut and spewed the following output
libnm_glib_nm_state_cb: dbus returned an error.
(org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown) The name org.freedesktop.NetworkManager was not provided by any .service files
Segmentation fault
i expected the program not to crash

note that i don't have network manager installed... i use wicd instead.

Hi,

Thanks for the bug report.

In order to fix the bug we will need a backtrace of the
crash. Please see

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash

and

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace

for instructions on how to obtain one.

If the crash causes a bug reporting window to pop
up then please report using that instead, and then
close this bug.

Thanks,

James

James: attached is the backtrace and whatnot you wanted.

Pedro: i've updated my repositories and i don't see that yet ... i just receieved the -0ubuntu1 update this morning. i'm on the canadian mirrors. i just checked packages.ubuntu.com and i don't see a -0ubuntu2 in the hardy repos? so not sure where that package is.
