Bug Description
Hi,
I just installed version Ubuntu 8.04 LTS beta with gnome graphical interface for testing.
~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04
It might not be a bug in the sence of computer scientist, but it look as a bug as an enduser, reason why I put this message here (i did not find anything about that in various unbuntu forums (english, french, german, italian, spanish), which does not mean nothing was written about it; my apologises if I am not in the right place.
My problem is the following with Data Novell disk (ncp format).
[code]ncpmount -S $serveur -A $serveur -U $novelU2.$contexte -P $paswd -u $uid -y utf8 -p cp850 -m $Noveldir/
is ok and disks are correctly mounted in repository ~/$Noveldir/$ND is run in terminal mode but no more from the launcher I have on my desktop.
I access them and open files on these disks.
According to previous version there some observed differences:
~/ncp/$ND are no more created as with previous versions of ubuntu and disks are now visible on the desktop.
Looking for proprieties it shows the number of files and size used, but also 0 byte used and 0 byte free (see attached image)
It is possible to create files directly on the disk in nautilus, to edit and modify them.
It is possible to open a file with an application (openoffice for instance) to modify it but not saving it, I get an error message
"General input/output error while accessing ~/$Noveldir/
It is not possible to copy files inside nautilus (graphical mode) with the following error:
error while copying to <rep>
and detail message is :
There is 0 bytes available, but 14.8 MB is required.
but when using in terminal mode cp : the copy is correctly done
rsync error suppressed here (has noting to do because it is related to Novell rights config)
I get the impression this is related to gnome and to some right access parameters, but as I am not a real computer scientist, I do not know where to look to find the problem.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I made test on various Novell server and I notice that:
rsync is only a Novell disk config because I have only the problem on some disks.
the nautilus problem is constant on all servers.
