T61p suspend not resuming with 2.6.24.16 generic

Worked (8 out of 10 times in Gutsy). Attaching lspci-vnn.log concatenated with dmesg.log. Uname -a: Linux malte-laptop 2.6.24-16-generic #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 13:23:42 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

Symptom: Resume results in black screen. An audible beep after approx. 10 seconds. Some brief disk activity. Magic number:
