Hi,

sorry, but a missing man page is not critical enough to warrant an SRU:
[11:23:31] <\sh> sistpoty: nope...
[11:23:44] <\sh> sistpoty: it's a shame...but not critical
;)
[..]
[11:25:14] <cody-somerville> sistpoty, I don't think that one is worth it
[11:25:27] <cody-somerville> sistpoty, Especially since the man page is rather sparse.

hence I've declined the nomination for hardy.

However can you provide a debdiff for the current version in intrepid and then resubscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors?
And it'd be even cooler, if you could forward that man page to the Debian bug tracking system.

Thanks,
    Stefan.

Leonardo, thanks for your work on this; a small suggestion though:

For me, the reason to look for a manpage were [1] finding out about the program's command line arguments (or the apparent lack thereof), and [2] getting to know where kphone's stores its configuration (which later turned out to be the kphonerc file in the rather non-standard location of ~/.qt/). Both of these might be useful information for the manpage.

There's a related debian bug, for command line -h / --help :)

However, people have moved on to Twinkle, which is actively maintained:

This was declined for Hardy, and apparently not done for Intrepid or Jaunty, either. Is somebody working on this for Karmic?

This patch has been reviewed as part of Operation Cleansweep. Leonardo, thank you for the patch. If you can package the manpage for maverick and also submit a patch to debian, it would be great! Until then, I'm marking this patch as patch-needswork, feel free to change the tag to patch if you need another review or subscribe sponsors directly if you have a debdiff.

KPhone has been removed from the archives since it is unmaintained and depends on Qt3. As such, no further improvements or bugfixes will be made to this software.
