Hibernate option should be suppressed on the live CD

The livecd cannot hibernate unless it finds an available swap partition. That
the option exists is a bug.

Maybe it wasn't clear. But the live CD found the swap partition and hibernated.
But I don't know how to restore the system back from the live CD, because on the
next run it starts the session again not getting the hibernate data from the
swap partition.

Matthew, what's the easiest way for casper to tell pmi to disallow hibernation?

Even if there is a swap partition, it has no chance of successfully resuming.

I think the hibernate option should be removed from the live CD as when testin the latest beta 2 edubuntu CD, it left the machine unusable again with the live CD. A quick summary, the machine was booted up on the live CD, chose to hibernate, and then turned the machine back on again. There was a swap partition on this machine, but gnome no longer works now. I can provide specifics if required.

You have an unrelated problem. If you can diagnose what the problem is with
GNOME, please file a separate bug. If you need help, file a support request
or ask on IRC or the forums.
