Bug Description

Binary package hint: icedtea-gcjwebplugin

I can run the following test applet using OpenJDK in Firefox:

http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml

However, it fails if I try the same applet over https, using this url:

https://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml

The above URL does work using java-6-sun-1.6.0.06.

The packages used are all the latest from updating against 8.04.
