Bug Description

Me and a friend have written a list manager app in Python with wxWidgets. The idea behind it is that it's not just a to-do list, but it can be used to keep track of anything.

User can create any number of lists, and put any items in them. What make Recuerde unique is that the user can define what fields items should have in any given list. For example: One list is for groceries, so this list will only have the item names. Another list is for appointments, so that will have the item names, as well as a date attached to each one.

This app is unique because of how it is written (I don't know of any other app in ubuntu done in wxPython.) I haven't fulfilled some of the usual requirements because they seem silly for a Python app. The source code has an installer script in it that basically copies my python files into /usr/lib/recuerde, a .desktop file into /usr/share/applications, and an icon into /usr/share/icons. The package can just put those files there.

I run Ubuntu myself, so I'm pretty sure it will work on it.

Recuerde depends on python 2.5 and wxPython 2.8 for python 2.5 (not sure the exact ubuntu package names, but I can find out)

Thanks for looking at my app.

I can do that, but https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages told me to submit it here. Is that document out of date?
