no connection when using dvi

Bug Description

first off, here are my specs:

Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10 Alpha 4 (fully updated)
ECS P4M800PRO-M
nVidia GeForce 6200

When i use vga. i can connect to my wireless network. when im using dvi i cant? sometimes i can connect. but i still have no internet either way. also some things wont work when i have dvi plugged in.
