Here is the bugreprot:

Unpacking linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-19-generic (from .../linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-19-generic_2.6.24-19.28_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-19-generic_2.6.24-19.28_i386.deb (--unpack):
corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)

This looks like there is a issue with your local machine. Could you please run a filesystem and a memory test?
