Error in I830WaitLpRing()

Bug Description

OS: Linux (k)ubuntu Dapper
kernel: 2.6.15-14-686
pc: IBM Thinkpad X40
svga: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device
driver: i810
options: xv and dri enabled

When i watch a video with Xine after a suspend to RAM, X crashes and respawn
itself forever and ever.
I was able to grab some info about the crash via ssh:

As suggested by Alan Hourihane, i'm now trying his experimantal driver downloaded from http://www.fairlite.demon.co.uk/intel.html.

I can confirm this bug. This is a genuine issue in dapper.
Even in my case this happened after I did a suspend to RAM.
The suspend to RAM worked fine and woke up nicely too, but X started locking up after I restarted.
My error log is also identical --
