Bug Description

While trying to add information and "Save" on the following bug:
"Bug #30467 in gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu): "Electricsheep screensaver does not show up in screensaver dialog"

... I get this:

Oops

Please report this as a bug, after checking that it isn’t reported already.

Ok... I wasn't using the tool properly, but I still shouldn't have gotten the crash message.

I had intended to "Add comment to this bug" but being unfamiliar with launchpad I had clicked on the bug and entered my update in the box labeled: "Comment on this change (optional)"

As I hadn't made a change I'm guessing that is what caused it to get confused and give me the "oops". Proper handling would be to tell me I hadn't made a change or something.

I believe bradb is who actually landed the fix for this bug; it should be in production.
