Bug Description
Binary package hint: texlive-base
Achitechture Intrepid AMD64 KDE 4.2 beta 2. Error mesg included " Please fix manually (try dpkg --configure -a and/or apt-get -f install) in terminal... tried both to no avail. Didn't know if I should do new bug report or subscribe to another as Architechture different. Sorry it I've done the wrong thing.

I get the same thing. Something I noticed in my attempts with Wubi:
If the kernel version is 2.6.27-7, texlive packages install fine, but the kernel can't be upgraded to *-9 or *-11.
If kernel vers. *-9 or *-11 is installed, the above install error happens.
I've attached the output of trying to run sudo apt-get install texlive-latex-base. The associated file referenced by the output is attached in a second attachment block, since this appears to only have one place for an attachment.
