Bug Description

The libevent1 package description claims:

libevent is meant to replace the asynchronous event loop found in
event driven network servers. Currently, libevent supports kqueue(2)
 and select(2).

This is obviously not true... Linux doesn't support kqueue. Besides, nm shows that libevent on Linux supports at least select, poll, and epoll.
