Bug Description
Ubuntu jaunty (development branch) 9.04 Beta
Upgraded from Ubuntu 8.10 using Upgrade Manager
While using Compiz rotating cube desktop, rotating to another desktop works most of the time then mouse click will start selecting an area on desktop but can still be rotated by grabbing top or bottom desktop panels.
I have the following Compiz options turned on:
General:

Accessibility:
Negative
Desktop:
Desktop Cube, Expo, Rotate Cube, Viewport Switcher
Effects:
3D Windows, Animations, Blur Windows, Cube Gears, Cube Reflection and Deformation, Fading Windows, Motion Blur, Water Effect, Window Decoration, Wobbly Windows
Extras:
None
Image Loading:
All
Utility:
Crash Handler, Dbus, Mouse Position Polling, Regex Matching, Resize Info, Scale Addons, Scale Window Title Filter, Session Management, Video Playback, Workarounds
Window Management:
Extra WM Actions, Move Window, Place Windows, Resize Window, Scale, Static Application Switcher
Found this 10 minutes after updating my Ubuntu based hardware testing system and thought I should file a bug. I don't plan on switching back to 8.10 so if any more info is needed just ask and I'll do what I can. Just keep in mind though that I'm still a Linux noob.

I don't know if this is related to this bug but I have also a problem when rotating the cube.
I am running Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 with compiz 0.8.2.
The plugins leading to problems are: Scale along with Desktop Cube / Rotate Cube.
To simply reproduce the bug I do:
Hit F3 (which is the keyboard shortcut to activate Scale).
All the windows show up.
Press Super + 1 (which is the keyboard shortcut to switch to workspace 1).
Expected Results:
The 1st desktop gets selected and Scale fades away.
Actual Results:
Compiz crashes. I have to restart the X server.
Does any of you observe this too?
If this is a bug related to a different problem, I can delete this comment and create another bug.
