Hi, I was trying the checkbox suspend script, I've already post my report as a duplicate for the HDX18 post...

Everything I have is the same, with the same error, however my HDX 16 has an Intel Core2Duo rather than amd.

This bug was actually fixed by HP about 2 months ago. Their latest BIOS firmware upgrade repairs the ACPI bug that prevented resume on various HP laptops, most notably the latest DV series and all HDX series.

The downside is to flash the BIOS with this update, you need to use Windows for that one time. I'm not aware of any way to flash the BIOS via Ubuntu. I think it's safe to close this bug now.
