Bug Description

Binary package hint: glade-3

Glade 3.4.5 on Ubuntu 8.10.

When I first click a top-level widget in the palette, it appears on the desktop (the design box). When the next top-level widget is clicked, it appears in the design box, replacing the previous one. In the inspector, all widgets appear in the order they are created.

I would expect a particular widget to be visible in the design box, when the corresponding item is clicked in the inspector. It doesn't happen. I haven't found any way to make any top-level widget visible, except by deleting all later widgets, saving the file, close the file, and re-open the file.

I found the problem when I looked at an example file that I found on the net: http://examples.oreilly.com/9780596514983/rwh-examples2.zip, file: examples/ch23/podresources.glade from the book Real World Haskell.

Sorry if I have misunderstood the interface. Sorry for bad terminology; my Glade installation run the Swedish translation of the interface.

I found that I can double-click the line in the inspector, which makes the corresponding item visible. The "bug" was a user error.
