Bug Description

OK here's another one about Dell Laptops failing to suspend/resume

I tried Suspend-to-RAM and Suspend-to-Disk today, and at first it seemed to work fine, although I got warnings/errors about Bluetooth on the text console just before each suspend.

Afterwards I realized that my Wifi (Intel Pro 2200BG) was not working anymore. I simply rebooted and after logging in again I got the crash report

Kubuntu 9.04 beta

It sounds like the resume never quite finished. There is some code in the latest jaunty packages to try to gather more information in this case. Perhaps you could try again? If it fails again, and prompts you to file a new bug report, please do so and mark this bug as a duplicate of that one (as it will have more detail).

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest Karmic 9.10 release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If the issue remains, could you run the following command from a
Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) while running Karmic. It
will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report.

apport-collect -p linux 349845

Thanks in advance
