2ManDVD is the successor of ManDVD, an application for creating video DVDs from a wide variety of video formats. Using this application, you can also create eye-pleasing menus with video, audio, and chapters.

The package is available on debian-multimedia.org. You should request a sync directly from there.
FYI, the package build OK without modification on a karmic pbuilder.

Yes, we know, but upstream's tarball lacks the license file.

Is the only thing preventing this entering the ubuntu repos the inclusion the license file ?

If so I would gladly contact the author to see if he would mind adding one... (1.0.1 was released yesterday btw)

2mandvd is a really great app , it is also very usable for newbies - this sort of high quality app is rare and good effort should be made to include this.

There is not any alternative in the ubuntu repo's of this quality.

Regarding 2ManDVD 1.2:

the tarball now contains a copy of the GPL-2 license, but files in widget/* are distributed under GPL-3
