Bug Description

Fresh Instillation of Ubuntu 9.10 OEM Install (with Updates from today)...
Here are some other Report with the same bug, but most done with Alpha when i see them correctly. If it's a duplicat: Sorry.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure I understand that very much as I am not
very technically sound in Linux and Ubuntu. I have been installing,
upgrading and using Ubuntu for around 2 years, and this was a problem I
faced with the Jaunty Release. I just Googled it and someone had suggested
that turning off the network connection and using ext3 instead of ext4
helps. I did as suggested and was able to install Jaunty successfully. I
also used F4 to choose "safe video option" at the beginning of the
installation. I am not sure this helps, and I also don't know where the
problem is, but thanks a lot anyway.

Apart from this problem that I faced a couple of times, the rest has been
smooth sailing. Thanks for all your efforts and a terrific distribution.
