Bug Description

Binary package hint: lastfmsubmitd

lastfmsubmitd uses the md5 module, which is deprecated. Thus, when it's started (for example via logrotate), the following warning is produced:

Restarting Last.fm submission daemon: /usr/bin/lastfmsubmitd:9: DeprecationWarning: the md5 module is deprecated; use hashlib instead
  import md5
lastfmsubmitd.

This is not a major problem, but obviously can clutter logs etc./be irritating.

I've applied this workaround (http://hacktux.com/python/deprecation/warning), but obviously that's just really a hack.

Thanks for your work on Ubuntu.
