Bug Description

it seems this last patch killed nautilus for me (all users on the system):

nautilus (2.14.1-0ubuntu4) dapper; urgency=low

  * debian/patches/04_dont_bookmark_desktop.patch:
    - don't bookmark the desktop when pressing ctrl-D on it

Nautilus can't start at all. it simply keeps crashing continuously.

Please post a complete backtrace of the crashing program.

To obtain a backtrace you should install some debugging packages and libraries (nautilus-dbg libglib2.0-0-dbg libgtk2.0-0-dbg libc6-dbg libgnomevfs2-0-dbg libgnomeui-0-dbg) and then run nautilus following the instructions in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash (from step 3 onwards). Thanks!

Thank you for your bug. Could you get a backtrace as mentionned before, nautilus-dbg should be enough. The patch is a simple one, it's not likely to create your issue
