With Radeon 7500, screen is always offset to the right

Bug Description

running either Ubuntu or Xubuntu beta 1 or beta 2 live on a desktop machine with a Radeon 7500 AGP card, the Xwindows screen is badly offset to th right. Problem is less noticable with Hoary live CD. Problem does not occur at all on IBM T23 (Savage IX video).

Hmm. Well, I would attach if I could find a way to do so. I guess I'll have to try cut and paste. Are there full instructions for using this somewhere?
